Durga Puja in the President's pen

On behalf of the Manikpur Public Durgotsav Committee, I extend my best wishes and congratulations to you on the occasion of Shubo Shardiya. In a complex, decadent society, we have embarked on the worship of Durga Tinashini, praying for the creation of a peaceful atmosphere and reveling in the festivities, forgetting all our narrow-mindedness and differences. On this festive day, we remember all the people of the area whom we have lost in the past few years. We pray for the eternal peace of their departed souls.

The melody of Durga’s arrival is in the air, the world is filled with happiness and love. Durga Tsav is the greatest festival of Bengalis’ lives, although this festival is not limited to Bengalis alone today.This festival has become universal and international. People today are lost in their attempts to know themselves amidst the busyness of daily life. In the context of the current situation, it is true that the heart is disturbed by the cries and cries of the people, but still, I have overcome all the sorrow and pain by hosting the Manikpur Universal Durgotsav Committee. In this festival, we all, regardless of caste, are committed to living together in harmony. We wish everyone well and while maintaining peace and order in the area, let us all come forward and rejoice.

Finally, on the occasion of this festival, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and best wishes to all the workers, volunteers, and advertisers of the Manikpur Universal Durgotsav Committee.

On behalf of Manikpur Youth Association, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all the villagers on the occasion of Sharad. As you know, not only Sharad Tsav, Manipur Youth Association organizes sports and various social activities throughout the year. Every year, an inter-club football tournament is organized on Independence Day on August 15th, and an annual sports competition is organized on Republic Day on January 26th. In addition, a two-night cricket tournament and a football league game are organized. Blood donation camps are also organized. We are planning to take some more initiatives in the coming days, such as Sit and Draw Competition, Rabindra Jayanti. Free Eye Checkup, Free Health Checkup, etc. We request you, let us all make Sharad Tsav and other programs of the Association a success.
